I have wanted to try espionage ideas out, in blobby campaigns where I rely on cavalry heavy armies (mughals among others) to get the +20% cav CA from policies but as said, there are always a better option when picking your ideas (the beast that is mughals with diplomatic, humanist and administrative ideas) Having a spy network also adds some passive benefits like increased siege, all in all there are some decent bonuses there but jumbled together so you don't really know when to take them and there always seem to be better options. 0.1 corruption is really good in the current meta once you reach the point of going over territory limits. Its a jack-of-all trade idea group making it easier to use espionage (something which I only use for fabricating claims) and some other bit of random bonuses with varied use. Espionage is a system few ppl cares for and espionage ideas are one of the least picked ones, I doubt the tweaks to it in 1.25 (rule britannia) changed much.
